Now I live in the Utrecht area. I grew up in Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil - a region with a strong presence of Italian and German descendants, like me: half Italian, half German. Some time ago, I lived for a year and a half in Aachen, Germany.
Later, I spent 17 years in Sรฃo Pauloโ16 million people, where getting around can be quite a challenge.

I find inspiration in my parents, who were resilient and entrepreneurial - always pushing boundaries. Iโm also inspired by Dutch culture and history, especially their long-standing tradition of innovation. That came through strongly while reading Russell Shortoโs book on Amsterdam, which captures the cityโs rich history and progressive spirit.
