Fizyr OS 3.0 Beta! – the next generation of advanced vision software for robotics is here!

At our 2025 Automation & Robotics Conference, we unveiled Fizyr OS 3.0. - our most advanced vision release to date.

Key integration partners are getting the beta in late January, and our work with industrial camera teams and global robotics providers has allowed us to reach transformative milestones in advanced vision.

Our focus has always been on automation excellence. This release takes our existing precision, performance, ease-of-use and integration capabilities even further.

There are upgrades to our basic capabilities around picking and camera calibration, but here are some key highlights that further differentiate Fizyr OS in the vision for automation space:

• Accelerated Machine Learning – New automation use cases get up and running even faster than before. Earlier versions of Fizyr OS quickly gained situational vision awareness quickly, 3.0 will be able to generalize even faster, due to improvements in our foundational models and upgraded cascading learning tools.  The system learns and gets productive with fewer images and less data, to achieve high accuracy!
• Multi-Pick Advancements – The new multi-pick algorithm in Fizyr OS identifies and coordinates picking multiple objects in a single cycle using grippers with multiple suction zones. Our vision system is guiding how to pick, combinations of items to pick, and identifying gripper zones and groupings to best achieve pick and place operations in various scenarios.  This is no easy task, and we’re not seeing much success in this area from other companies in the vision space.  On grippers with multiple suction zones (do the math!) the combinations can be very complex.  And we’re confident we’ve got a foundational toolset that will work for logistics, food processing and manufacturing automation, and will perform well in a huge variety workflows and automation tasks.

• Next Generation Hardware - The release includes a major upgrade and standardization project for vision automation hardware.  This effort utilizes Fizyr OS advanced system portability and flexibility, and recent advances in hardware, including the AI optimized NVIDIA Jetson Thor servers.‍
• Improved Robotics Orchestration as high volume, high variability automation is a key component of robotics and physical AI.  Fizyr OS 3.0 has made across-the-board upgrades to integrator usability, robotics communication capabilities through our open API, expanded camera connectivity and more.  Next generation set up tools and operational machine vision improvements make working with Fizyr OS vision system even better.
